The UAE has sent emergency relief to Yemenis on Socotra who have been affected by cyclone Chapala. That’s according to National News Agency WAM which says the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation sent an aid plane to the island which carried 33 tonnes of blankets and tents and 27 tonnes of food supplies. The Foundation has sent 15 planes carrying 585 tonnes of emergency relief since the beginning of the Yemeni Crisis. Three ships were also sent carrying 10,000 tonnes of emergency food aid, medicines and medical supplies.
