The UAE has sent aid planes containing medical supplies, testing kits, ventilators and COVID-19 vaccines to Rwanda and Indonesia.
Indonesia received 56 tonnes of medical aid, while nine tonnes worth of support went to Rwanda.
The UAE Ambassadors to Rwanda and Indonesia lauded the UAE leadership for their initiative to help countries combat the pandemic.
The move reflects the UAE's strong ties with both the countries and their growing cooperation on economic, commercial and investment fronts.
So far, the UAE has provided over 2,200 tonnes of aid to more than 135 countries.
