The UAE has expressed its solidarity with Afghanistan following a powerful earthquake that struck Khost and Paktika provinces.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MoFAIC) offered condolences to the Afghan people and to the families of the victims of this tragedy.
It also wished a speedy recovery to those injured.
UAE intercepts 9 ballistic missiles, 109 drones
The UAE air defences said it has intercepted 9 ballistic missiles detected in the region on Friday. Of the 112 drones detected, 109 were intercepted with 3 falling within the country's territory.
