The UAE has strongly condemned Iran for continuing to strike Kuwait and reiterated its full solidarity and support for all measures the country takes to safeguard its security and stability.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) affirmed that this hostile attack constitutes a flagrant violation of the sovereignty of Kuwait and a threat to its security and stability.
On Friday, Kuwait's Armed Forces said it intercepted and destroyed drones that entered its airspace, adding that there was material damage due to falling debris but no casualties.
In a statement posted by Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), Ministry of Defence said Friday's attack targeted several vital and military installations across the country.
It comes a day after an Iranian attack targeted a building belonging to a Chinese company in the north of the country, killing one worker and causing extensive material damage to the facility.
