
The UAE has welcomed the Syrian government's announcement on reaching a roadmap to resolve the crisis in Suwayda governorate, commending the efforts of Jordan and the US in achieving this outcome.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) reaffirmed the importance of reinforcing stability to safeguard Syria and its unity, prevent further loss of life, ensure civilian protection, and uphold its sovereignty.

The Ministry further expressed the UAE’s solidarity with Syria, along with its committed support for all measures implemented by Syria in fulfilling their goals for security, peaceful coexistence, and development.
According to an announcement by Syria's Foreign Minister Asaad al-Shibani, the roadmap includes holding civilian attackers accountable, resuming humanitarian and medical aid, compensating those affected, and ensuring the return of displaced people and abductees.
