The UAE is currently witnessing a significant drop in the number of infections and deaths due to the COVID-19 virus.
During the UAE government media briefing on Wednesday, Dr. Taher Al Ameri, official spokesperson for National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority (NCEMA) said the country has become one of the most successful models of addressing the pandemic.
He noted that the UAE has handled the crisis with professionalism, and according to international indicators.
Relevant authorities are continuing to monitor the pandemic globally and are constantly assessing the situation, to update protocols and procedures to protect the community’s health and safety, Al Ameri added.
