Houthi rebels in Yemen must match their deeds to their words for the peace process to work.
That's according to the UAE's Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Dr. Anwar Gargash, who's called on the Houthi's to keep their word on the redeployment of forces in Hodeidah.
As part of the latest agreement, both Yemen's internationally recognised, legitimate government and the Iran-backed Houthi militants agreed to begin withdrawing their troops from the area.
However, it comes after previous peace deals were violated by the Houthi's.
In a post on Twitter, Dr. Gargash said that success with the new agreement would help lead to more promising results overall.
Crucial that Houthi words are met with deeds on redeployment in Hodeida. Earlier dates & commitments lapsed. New ones should not. Success in implementation will lead to more promising results.
