UAE Minister of State Noura Al Kaabi represented President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan at the inauguration ceremony of Argentinian President Javier Milei in Buenos Aires.
She was accompanied by Saeed Alqemzi, UAE ambassador to Argentina.
Al Kaabi conveyed the President's well-wishes to the new leader, and emphasised the deep-rooted relations between the two nations that derive from solid friendship and mutual respect.
She also affirmed the UAE leadership’s keenness to strengthen bilateral cooperation.
For his part, Javier Milei expressed his sincere appreciation and gratitude for the UAE’s participation in the presidential inauguration and swearing-in ceremony.
Notably, diplomatic ties between the two countries trace back to 1974. Over recent years, several agreements on taxes, investments, and visa exemptions have been signed, in addition to partnerships in the fields of food, agriculture, trade, and sport.
