Dubai's iconic Burj Khalifa put up a special laser show just minutes before UAE’s Hope Probe Mars Mission attempts to enter the Red Planet’s orbit.
The UAE Government Media Office organised a major media event at the Burj Khalifa to mark the historic moment.
Global news agencies, as well as local, regional and foreign media representatives, and officials and members of the Emirates Mars Mission are in attendance.

Sarah bint Yousif Al Amiri, Minister of State for Advanced Sciences, who chairs the UAE Space Agency, explained the four scenarios the Hope Probe will face as it starts its Mars' orbit insertion sequence.
