Heavy rains accompanied by thunderstorms and hail hit parts of the UAE on Sunday morning.
On Twitter, the National Centre for Meteorology (NCM) reported heavy to moderate rainfall in various parts of Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain and other emirates.
Many residents took to social media to post images and videos of the hail storm in Umm Al Quwain.

Dusty conditions are set to continue, with wind speeds of up to 60kph forecast for the northern emirates.
Police have also issued advisories, urging motorists to be extra cautious on the roads, with visibility reducing in many parts.
