The UAE has released an official song in celebration of the 50th National Day.
The song titled 'Hathy Al Emarat', which translates to 'This is the UAE', reflects on the country's achievements over the past 50 years, emphasising national pride and love for the homeland.
It is part of a series of musical performances planned for the official National Day celebrations in Hatta on December 2.
The song, performed by the UAE Choir Group, was written by Rashed Sharar and composed by Mohammed Al Ahmed, with sound engineering and mixing by Adam Miller and Ali Al Ameer.
The track also features in services offered by the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA), Etisalat and du, so you may hear it when a call is placed on hold.
