The completion of major improvement works has helped reduce congestion on Dubai's Al Qudra Road by over 300 per cent.
According to the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), the upgrades included replacing the roundabouts on the road with signalised junctions, and improving the entrances and exits to Dubai Studio City and Arabian Ranches.
The improvement works were carried out along the stretch from Sheikh Zayed bin Hamdan Al Nahyan Roundabout up to the intersection of Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road and vice-versa.
The RTA said the project has helped improve the flow of traffic and reduced the delay rate from 7 minutes to 1.12 minutes.
