The Dubai Crown Prince's spectacular capture of the solar eclipse is winning hearts on the internet.
The video has garnered over 368,000 views within three hours since it was posted on instagram.
His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, also shared an image that showed the moon covering the sun at different angles.
He captioned it: "Rare Annular solar eclipse was seen today in #UAE Last occurred 172 years ago in the #UAE and the next one will happen in 83 years!!"
Sky gazers were in for a treat as the rare solar phenomenon was visible from the UAE for the first time in over 170 years.
