The UAE is the most preferred potential halal holiday destination, according to a YouGov study. The YouGov Travel Oracle is an annual, online travel survey with more than 20,000 respondents from the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia. It has also revealed that the majority would pay more for halal holidays than ordinary vacations. Among the respondents, Algeria favoured halal holidays the most, followed by Sudan and Yemen. Halal tourism is geared towards Muslim families, where Islamic beliefs and practices are made available.
