Abu Dhabi roads to be closed for Cycle Tour

Motorists in the capital could face road closures over the next few days as the Cycle Tour rolls into town. The first stage of the Abu Dhabi tour begins on Thursday, October 8, and some roads will be closed to traffic between midday and 5:30 pm, and will be closed and reopened in stages. The Abu Dhabi Safety and Traffic Solutions Committee announced the closures that will be in place for the race that runs until Sunday, with the capital stage happening on Friday.
