Al Ain clinch Pro League title

Al Ain have been crowned ADNOC Pro League champions after thrashing Al Jazira 5-0 at the Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium.

Two goals each side of half time from Laba Kodjo and a fifth from Caio Canedo late on wrapped up the title with three games to spare.

In a miserable night for Al Jazira, Abdoulay Diaby was sent off in added time.

The win seals their fifth Pro League Title and their 14th in the overall history of the competition.

The league title means Al Ain are double champions for the season after their Pro League Cup success earlier in the month, where they beat Shabab Al Ahli in a penalty shoot-out.
