England have named their 14-man squad for the Ashes.

Fast bowler Jofra Archer is set to make his Test debut while Ben Stokes has been re-appointed as vice-captain.

Earlier on Saturday Archer revealed that he played through "excruciating" pain caused by side strain during the second half of England's victorious World Cup campaign.

Meanwhile Olly Stone features in the side as a fast-bowling option while Joe Denly also made the cut.

The opening Test gets underway on Thursday at Edgbaston.
