Chelsea secure top-four spot with Watford win

Chelsea booked their place in the Champions League next season with a comfortable victory over Watford at Stamford Bridge.

With Arsenal only managing a draw against Brighton, the result guarantees the Blues a top-four finish in the English Premier League.

Goals from Ruben Loftus-Cheek, David Luiz and Gonzalo Higuaín gave Maurizio Sarri's men a 3-0 victory at home.

Meanwhile, Arsenal's ambitions for a top-four Premier League finish look extremely bleak after a cagey 1-1 draw with Brighton.

There was disappointment for Manchester United as well. They'll have to settle for Europa League football next season after being held to a draw against bottom-side Huddersfield.
