Dubai Basketball fell 83–79 to LDLC ASVEL in a tightly contested EuroLeague Round 6 matchup in Villeurbanne, France, on Thursday night.

Dubai led for much of the game and went into the final quarter with a nine-point advantage after a strong third period powered by Dwayne Bacon who scored 22 points, and Mfiondu Kabengele with 20.

Filip Petrušev also posted a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds.

However, ASVEL rallied late behind veteran guard Nando De Colo, capitalising on missed opportunities from the visitors to overturn the deficit and claim the win.

The result leaves Dubai with a 3–3 record in their debut EuroLeague season. They will look to bounce back in the next round.
