Dubai Tennis: Hurkacz and Rublev to meet in semis

Fifth-seeded Hubert Hurkacz has triumphed over fourth-seed Jannik Sinner 6-3 6-3 in the day's second quarter-final on centre court.

Earlier, second seed Andrey Rublev progressed beating Mackenzie McDonald 6-2 3-6 1-6.

The second semi-final places will go to the winners of the final two quarter-final matches, the first between top seed and world number one Novak Djokovic and qualifier Jiri Vesely, followed  by Ricardas Berankis and sixth seed Denis Shapovalov.
