A players’ agent has been detained in Monaco as part of a money laundering and football corruption investigation in Belgium.
The man has been involved in several international transfers, including those of Belgian players and clubs.
He is suspected of collecting undue commissions over footballers’ transfers.
His assistant has also been arrested.
The arrests come following raids in London, Liege and Monaco earlier this week.
