James McDonald, the stable’s retained and highly regarded jockey in Australia, will be on board no less than ten runners throughout the day, including the much-fancied Exosphere who is the favourite in the Coolmore Stud Stakes. The 23-year-old admits it’ll be a tough test, but is looking forward to the challenge on a day that many racing purists insist is the best race meeting of the entire year in Australia.
