India and Bangladesh are set to play their first-ever pink-ball Test match.

The historic day-night encounter gets underway on Friday at Kolkata’s Eden Garden (11:30 am UAE time).

Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bat first.

It’s going to be a packed house with Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee among the high-profile names in attendance.

India are 1-0 up in the two-Test series and will aim for another whitewash after their recent clean sweep victories over the West Indies and South Africa.
