Sunrisers Hyderabad ended their losing streak in the Indian Premier League (IPL) with a six-wicket victory over defending champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK).

Chasing a modest target of 133, the hosts won the game in Hyderabad with 19 balls remaining.

Openers Jonny Bairstow (61 not out) and David Warner (50) struck a 66-run partnership to set up the win for the Sunrisers.

Chennai was led by Suresh Raina in the absence of regular skipper MS Dhoni who was out with a back injury.

Despite the defeat, CSK remain at the top of the points table, with their four-point lead intact, while Hyderabad have moved up to fifth in the standings.
