Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has expressed concerns about Saudi Arabia’s transfer window closing weeks after the Premier League's.

Speaking in Singapore, he said the three-week difference could mean players could still leave for the Middle East long after the window closes in Europe.

"I think that pretty much the worst thing is that the transfer window in Saudi Arabia is open for three weeks longer. If I am right, I heard something like that," he said. "Then, at least in Europe, that's not helpful. So UEFA and FIFA must find solutions for that."

Liverpool have already lost two key players to Saudi Arabian teams with Jordan Henderson linking up with Anfield legend Steven Gerrard at Al-Ettifaq, while midfielder Fabinho has joined Al-Ittihad.

Former Liverpool star Sadio Mane is the latest big-name player to sign for a Saudi Arabian club, having agreed terms with Al-Nassr.
