Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) advanced to the finals of the Indian Premier League (IPL) after beating Delhi Capitals (DC) in Qualifier 1 by three wickets on Wednesday.
Chasing a target of 136 runs in Sharjah, KKR won the game with one ball remaining.
Openers Venkatesh Iyer (55) and Shubman Gill (46) put up a 96-run opening partnership to set up the win.
Kolkata needed seven runs in the final over from R. Ashwin who bowled the first four balls brilliantly and grabbed two wickets but Rahul Tripathi struck a winning six off the fifth ball.
KKR will face Chennai Super Kings in the final in Dubai on Friday.
