The two will play each other on Centre Court in Saturday’s finale.

Second seed Petra Kvitová and surprise package Belinda Bencic are through to the finals of the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships.

Friday’s semi-finals saw Bencic beat two time defending champion Elina Svitolina in a thrilling match that was decided by a tiebreak in the third and final set.

Earlier 2013 winner Kvitová got the better of Taiwan’s Hsieh Su-wei 3-6, 6-2, 6-4.

Svitolina was looking to become the first woman to win the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships three times in a row.

However it will now be Bencic and Kvitová who will play each other on Centre Court in Saturday’s final.

The action is expected to get underway at 7 PM.
