Liverpool and Barcelona have booked their places in the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

Sadio Mane scored twice to help the Reds beat Bayern Munich 3-1 at the Allianz Arena.

It's the second successive season that Liverpool have made it to the final eight of the Champions League.

It also means that there will be four Premier League teams in this stage of the tournament for the first time since 2009.

Meanwhile, Barcelona thrashed Lyon 5-1 in their second leg last-16 encounter.

The Catalan side have made it to the quarterfinals of the tournament for a record 12th consecutive year.

The draw for the next phase of the Champions League will be carried out on Friday.
