Defending MotoGP world champion Marc Marquez has clinched an incident-packed San Marino Grand Prix. The Honda rider finished ahead of British drivers Bradley Smith and Scott Redding. Jorge Lorenzo, who started on pole position, crashed out – while championship leader Valentino Rossi finished fifth. The result gives Rossi a 23-point lead in the overall standings.
