Nigeria claimed third place in the Africa Cup of Nations after beating Tunisia 1-0 in a scrappy meeting in Cairo.

Odion Ighalo got the only goal of the game early on, tapping in from close range in the third minute.

Tunisia went close to equalising through Ferjani Sassi and Ghaylene Chaalali but couldn't find the breakthrough, despite goalkeeper Moez Ben Cherifia keeping them in the game with impressive saves from Samuel Chukwueze and Samuel Kalu.

Senegal take on Algeria in the final on Friday.
