The world’s richest horse race, the Dubai World Cup, took place last night, and had excitement befitting the occasion…

That was Matthew Hill, who called the race for Dubai Eye 103.8. Last year’s runner-up, California Chrome, went one better this year to claim the AED 36.7 million prize, ahead of some of the world’s best horses. It ended a tremendous day of racing in front of over 60,000 fans at Meydan racecourse, before Janet Jackson brought the curtains down on the event.
