Play underway again at Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships

Play has resumed at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships after a three and a half hour rain delay. The opening match on Centre Court was suspended in the third set between Carla Suarez Navarro and Caroline Garcia, with France's Garcia serving for the match. With the court dried out after excellent work from the organisers, that match is being concluded before defending champion Simon Halep faces Ana Ivanovic and Elina Svitolina takes on number two seed Garbine Muguruza. Madison Brengle and Petra Kvitova will now be played on Court number 1 after initially being scheduled on Centre earlier this afternoon.
