Rajasthan eliminate RCB from IPL

Rajasthan Royals defeated Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) by four wickets in the 'eliminator' of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Chasing a victory target of 173 in Ahmedabad, the Royals reached home in 19 overs.

Yashasvi Jaiswal top-scored with 45 while Riyan Parag played a crucial knock of 36.

RCB earlier scored 172 for 8 after being sent to bat, with Rajat Patidar hitting 34 off 22 balls and Virat Kohli scoring 33 off 24.

Rajasthan's off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin, who finished with figures of 2 for 19 in four overs was declared player of the match.

During the match, Kohli became the first batter to reach the milestone of 8,000 runs in the IPL.
