Ras Al Khaimah Championship golf tournament launched

The inaugural DP World Tour Ras Al Khaimah Championship's set to tee off at Al Hamra Golf Club on February 3, with many of the world's top golfers competing.

His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, attended a reception to mark the launch where he underscored Ras Al Khaimah’s ongoing efforts to enhance its position as a destination for hosting international sporting events, which, in turn, promotes the Emirate on the global sporting map.

He also highlighted the importance of sports and its pivotal role in building understanding and improving communication between people around the world.
