Routes announced for fourth UAE Tour

Abu Dhabi Sports Council has released the routes for the fourth UAE Tour, a seven-stage national cycling event covering mountains, coastline and desert.

The tour runs February 20-26, opening the 2022 UCI World Tour racing calendar.

The city stage of Dubai will depart from Expo 2020 Dubai before heading into the desert, touching familiar locations - Dubai Sports City, Al Qudra Cycletrack and the Silicon Oasis, and finally returning to the city at Meydan racecourse.

Crossing the city, the riders will then reach Jumeirah Road, Palm Jumeirah and the Jumeirah Islands before returning to Expo 2020 Dubai.

There will also be two summit finishes (Jebel Hafeet and Jebel Jais), four sprint stages and a time trial in the city of Ajman form the route of the UAE Tour’s fourth edition.
