Rugby League star Sam Burgess has been released from hospital following a serious neck injury. The England forward was playing for the South Sydney Rabbitohs on Sunday when he was involved in a serious collision and was stretchered off. It was feared the dual code international had sustained serious neck and spinal damage, but is now expected to make a full recovery.
