Valencia came from two goals down to claim a 2-2 draw at Real Betis in the first leg of their Copa del Rey semi-final.

Betis winger Joaquin scored directly from a corner in the 54th minute, after Loren Moron had given the hosts the lead with a header on the stroke of half-time.

But Denis Cheryshev pulled one back for the visitors with 20 minutes remaining before Kevin Gameiro's stoppage-time equaliser.

Valencia will host Betis in the return leg at the Mestalla on February 28, with the winner going on to face either Barcelona or Real Madrid in the final.
