The Emirates Group welcomed over 105,000 new members of staff, increasing its workforce by 2 per cent.
This comes despite a 44 per cent decrease in profit across the whole group in the 2018-2019 financial year.
According to the report released on Thursday, Emirates Airline recorded a 6 per cent increase in revenue but a 69 per cent drop in profit.
Dnata, on the other hand, saw a 10 per cent increase in revenue with its international business accounting for 70 per cent of that.
