International visitors flying to Abu Dhabi on Etihad-operated flights will receive complimentary medical travel insurance as part of a new partnership between the airline and the Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi.
The cover, provided by Daman, applies to eligible passengers travelling to Abu Dhabi between July and December 2026.
It offers up to 15 days of medical travel insurance within the UAE and is automatically included with qualifying tickets, with no separate application required.
Any guest flying to Abu Dhabi on an Etihad-operated service, with point of origin and point of sale outside the UAE, is eligible, including visitors using Etihad’s complimentary stopover programme to explore Abu Dhabi.
Officials say the initiative is designed to make travel to the emirate easier and more convenient, while supporting growing demand for Abu Dhabi as a leading global tourism destination.
