Global music icons, Foo Fighters will perform on Sunday night at this year’s Yasalam After-Race Concerts to complete a star-studded line-up at the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

With the previously announced headline artists, Khalid, Lewis Capaldi, and Stormzy, the addition of 12-time Grammy award-winning Foo Fighters builds on what is sure to be an unmissable race weekend.

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees will make their UAE debut by closing out Sunday’s race day in style on December 12.

"With the UAE debut of exciting and international award-winning musical talents including the legendary Foo Fighters, we believe this may just be our best year yet, and we’re eagerly looking forward to what will be an unprecedented 4 days at this year’s Grand Prix in Abu Dhabi," said Al Tareq Al Ameri, CEO of Abu Dhabi Motorsports Management.

The 1995 release of Foo Fighters’ self-titled debut album began the ascent of Dave Grohl, Taylor Hawkins, Nate Mendel, Chris Shiflett, Pat Smear and Rami Jaffee to their current standing as the last great American arena/stadium rock band.

Having recently completed a 2017-2019 tour of the world’s stadiums, arenas and festivals, Foo Fighters are currently hard at work on album number 10 ahead of their trip to Abu Dhabi.

Ticketholders will now be able to select which After-Race concert they wish to attend following the official announcement of this year’s full line up for the Yasalam After-Race entertainment.

With the government approved capacity in Etihad Park, all Grand Prix ticketholders will be asked to choose one Yasalam After-Race Concert to attend.

All ticketholders will have access to the Thursday concert, headlined by Khalid, in addition, single-day ticketholders will also have access to the day they have an Abu Dhabi Grand Prix ticket for.

Those with two-day tickets will have access to the Saturday and Sunday concerts as well as Thursday, and the three-day ticketholders can enjoy all nights of the after-race entertainment.

Fans who have purchased tickets for the Grand Prix prior to the announcement of the After-Race Concert artists will be given a priority window in which to select the performance of their choice.

If one day ticketholders wish to attend a different concert to their current day, they can upgrade their ticket to a two or three-day ticket which will allow them to select their preferred artist.

Following recent government updates, capacity at Yas Marina Circuit has increased, allowing for additional fans to get in on the action taking place from December 9-12.
