At least four people were killed after a civil protection surveillance plane crashed at Jijel Ferhat Abbas airport in the north Algerian town of Taher, Algerian media reported, citing civil protection authorities.
The aircraft, a Zlin-type plane, crashed during a training mission at the airport, according to Algerian media.
According to a statement by the Algeria's Civil Protection authorities, the victims include two members of the Civil Protection force, a flight instructor and an aviation company manager.
