Three Dubai doctors have been handed one-year jail term over a botched nose surgery.
A Dubai court on Wednesday found a surgeon, an anaesthetist and an anaesthetic technician guilty of malpractice and negligence that left 25-year-old Rowda Al Maeeni in a coma.
The doctors, who worked for First Med Day Surgery Centre, will be deported after serving their prison term.
The judge also fined the clinic AED 300,000.
18 suspects have been seized in Dubai for illegally disposing of harmful materials, including sewage and petrochemical waste, outside designated locations across the emirate.
