Dubai Police have achieved significant milestones in volunteer work over the past five years, accumulating over 1.25 million volunteer hours.
This accomplishment highlights the dedication of both Dubai Police employees and external volunteers from various nationalities, who registered through the Dubai Police Volunteering Platform.
In 2024 alone, the platform documented 422,589 volunteer hours, with a total of 10,931 volunteers contributing to various community initiatives.
This marks a continuous increase in participation from previous years, demonstrating the growing commitment to volunteering within Dubai’s police force and the wider community.
The announcement coincides with International Volunteer Day, observed annually on December 5, a day dedicated to recognising the contributions of volunteers worldwide.
Brigadier Ali Khalfan Al Mansouri, Director of the General Department of Community Happiness at Dubai Police, highlighted the force's ongoing efforts to promote volunteering, under the leadership of Lieutenant General Abdulla Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police.
He emphasised that the Dubai Police Volunteering Platform has been instrumental in offering diverse opportunities for volunteers, aiming to strengthen community bonds, enhance safety and promote social responsibility across various sectors.
