Motorists in Dubai stand a chance to get up to 100 per cent off their traffic fines if they don’t rack up any penalties for the rest of the year.
It’s part of a new initiative from Dubai Police, to encourage safe driving habits.
Col. Faisal Essa Al Qasim, Director of Dubai Police Media Department, shared the details with ARN News.
The discounts scheme only applies to fines issued by Dubai Police to privately-owned, Dubai-registered vehicles.
As per the directives of @HHShkMohd, and in line with the Year of Tolerance, the @DubaiPoliceHQ launched an initiative for traffic fines settlement through which drivers can get up to a 100% reduction on the total accumulated existing traffic fineshttps://t.co/Owp2kcN4dS pic.twitter.com/vpnyoyclEy
