Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is set to implement a major traffic diversion at the Arabian Ranches junction, starting June 22.
The diversion will last for five months as part of bridge construction works aimed at improving traffic flow on Al Qudra Road.
As part of the changes, the traffic signal at the intersection connecting Arabian Ranches and Dubai Studio City will be removed.
Traffic will be rerouted outside the intersection area, allowing free-flow movement in both directions between Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road and Sheikh Zayed bin Hamdan Al Nahyan Street.
Additionally, two new signal-free U-turns will be introduced to ease congestion.
The RTA is advising motorists to plan their journeys in advance and leave early to ensure a smooth commute during the diversion period.
