Yemeni President Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi has praised the UAE for its efforts to support his country, according to the national news agency WAM. Hadi was speaking at a meeting with the UAE Special Envoy for Yemen, Dr. Mubarak Saeed Ghafan Al Jaberi. The leader said the Emirates has taken on a brotherly role, providing humanitarian aid and support. A second batch of Emirati soldiers is preparing to leave for Yemen as part of a Saudi-led coalition. They’re fighting Houthi rebels and militia loyal to ousted leader Ali Abdullah Saleh.
