Under a new Emiratisation programme more than 1,000 jobs will be created for UAE nationals in the tourism sector. Dubai Parks and Resorts will open up more than a third of its employment opportunities to Emiratis at a range of entry levels. The programme has three divisions; a six-month development programme called ‘Forsati’, people with three years’ experience can get into ‘Sahim’ and a scholarship programme for graduates is called ‘Helmi’. The idea is to groom well-trained local talent into being professionals, who can run the company’s three theme parks in Dubai, which are scheduled to open in October 2016.
