Starting July, taxi fares in Sharjah will be pegged to the UAE's monthly fuel prices.
Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) made the announcement on social media on Friday.
Since August 2015, the UAE fuel prices have been released at the end of every month after aligning local fuel prices with global oil rate.
