The UAE's philanthropic institutions will be working with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to enhance humanitarian cooperation in health.
This comes after His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and Bill Gates, Co-chair of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation discussed disease and epidemic control in a phone call on Friday.
Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed and Gates spoke about ways to support international governments' efforts to limit the spread of the new coronavirus.
They also highlighted the success they've achieved in previous global partnerships.
