The Ministry of Climate Change and Environment (MOCCAE) has confirmed that all Coca-Cola products available in the UAE are safe and meet local food safety standards.
This comes following reports about Coca-Cola recalling some of its beverages in Europe after detecting elevated levels of chlorate at a production plant in Belgium.
MOCCAE has reassured consumers that the products in the UAE market are locally produced at Coca-Cola’s bottling plants in Abu Dhabi and are not affected by the recall.
The Ministry continues to monitor food safety to ensure consumer health.
